Title: Yet another Canadian Sandcast
Post by: sandcast6223 on July 25, 2017, 02:00:23 am
Hi everyone glad to be part of the Sandcast community.

We have finally added a Sandcast to our collection, Frame CB750-1006223 , Engine CB750E-1006225 - Yes only 2 apart  ;)

The frame and engine are original and in good shape with low miles.

We purchased the bike from the second owner who aquired it in the early 1980's for use in an Ice Race , after the race, the bike was put into storage and never returned to street use.

I would prefer to restore the bike with Honda OEM parts , but I must admit the Yamiya Body set looks like a good option, I would be interested in comments from anyone who has used this option.

The Sandcast joins our 1969 Diecast Survivor and the most popular bike at our shop, a 1981 750K Police Special

Hello Carl,

wellcome to the forum.

We are hunting genuine sandcast parts all over the planet.
Yamiya body parts are a good option and only a few people will see the differences to genuine stuff (of course, we do).

You will find a lot of helpful info here when you restore the sandcast. Keep us informed!
