Title: Advice for rebuilding the top end
Post by: acruz on February 12, 2018, 04:27:31 pm
Hi Fellas.  I'm trying to get information on services and pricing  to rebuild the top end of my engine.  I would need the cylinders to be replaced as the stock ones are rusted and I would need to have the cylinder head and valves to be redone.  I have seen places like APE and Cycle X, offer these services but if you guys have trusted people or companies that you use for this type of work please let me know.
Thanks
Arnold

Sorry i've no suggestions, my buddy with 49 years motorcycle industry experience did the the majority of head and cylinder work for me.  You might try Mark Paris in Denver, he's noted as an expert on all things mechanical related to CB750.  You should be able to find him on sohc4.net  Mark wrote "My CB750 Book."  Mark bailed me out on an uncommon problem with an early K1 head.  Mark knows his stuff, and as far as i know, still does engine work.
