Title: handlebars?
Post by: chrisnoel on February 17, 2010, 02:57:45 pm
I'm wondering what years I can get handlebars off of? I would prefer to go by part # but If I see a set of 73,74,75,76, and so on bars would they be the same?

My cb750/cb750k1 parts list is coming in the mail now but it won't tell me if later models have the same bars.

Are there any markings on the 300 bars that can identify them ?    I discovered yesterday that my bars are bent.

I've straightened these bars in the past with a large vise and using a long heavy bar and steel pipe.  The bars straighten pretty easily.  I'm not aware of any markings to differentiate HM300 bars from the others. Non-HM300 bars have less of a rise than HM341 bars.  New HM300 bars are almost always on ebay for around $90.
