I've removed my forks for a general cleanup. Does anyone recognize the old gaitors from a different model? the old gaitors have a thick lip at both top and bottom - however, the OEM replacements have a thick lip at bottom but a thin lip at top that fits over the bottom of the fork ear. - can someone confirm whether I've installed the right OEM #51611-300-000 gaitors?
Thanks.

Part number is the same as sown in the 69.4 printing of the parts manual. Do they look like the Yamiya part?

These don't look to be original. I got caught with a pair of those and the bottom end part is way too long and not the correct shape. These are the correct item.

These are also good copy for aftermarket and when matched up with a factory set they are near identical

Or, go to DSS for the originals at cheap price.

I'm glad i asked. It surprised me when i removed the old boots and they were so different from the 51611-300-000 pair i ordered. It made me doubt whether i had ordered the rights ones. But my replacement boots look like the Yamiya set pictured and also the set link posted by KP, so that's good. But now I wonder why my bike had an incorrect set installed in the first place. - probably not from Honda.
The stories these bikes could tell i guess. Maybe a few more stories will become evident as i slowly try to get the bike back on the road.
Thanks.
