Title: Smooth Background on Thin Lip, latest vin ?

I know this question that can have only an approximate answer, but would like to get this distinction into "the list."

1.  What vin did the smooth background on the thin lip alternator cover end ?

Steve,

I think I remember that there was a service bulletin that covered that change, but you would need someone with a complete set to look it up? I could be mistaken as it has been a few years?
