Someone knows how can i reproduce the plastic transparent cover on the clutch and brake levers?

good question.  i don't recall this topic ever being asked.  i did a mini websearch and found qite a number of different products, butwhich would be best.......  ?

Would clear powder coating (suitably masked as per original) do the job?

Is not easy to solve this question.
Looking the old levers, i think that the procedure to do them was an immersion of the levers in a special hot plastic liquid.
Only in this way is possible replicate the tickness of old plastic coat.

Mick, I like the powder coating solution as it is clear and you can indeed mask the areas you don't want coated. Anyone actually tried this,

I'll try plastisol transparent, a suspension of PVC particles in a plasticizer; it flows as a liquid. When heated to around 177 degrees Celsius, the plastic and plasticizer mutually dissolve each other.

Dear Steve;

I made an experience with Plastisol today. Plastisol has a rubber finish, not a plastic finish like the original Honda part, but visually is the same. I putted the lever 10 minutes on the oven, at 200 degrees, emerged the lever on Plastisol and more 10 minutes on the oven at the same temperature.
Here goes some pictures. I'll try other options like clear coats and post later.

Looks very good !  Too bad is rubber finish........   :'(
