Here is a dude selling a reproduction side cover and whilst it's not said, I reckon he's worded the listing to make out it's genuine (no shop wear)
OK, other than the fact it has no screen fitted, how do you identify this as a reproduction. who's going to be the man in the straw hat with thus quiz. KP

Thanks Mark. iPads are odd instruments to use, or should that read the people who use iPads incorrectly are odd  ;D
Hopefully the link is now correct. KP

I think this is an original. I compared this one with two other original sidecovers I have and the structure of the inside, left by the mold, is comparable. Not exactly the same, but for 95%.

Does it have anything to do with the molding impressions by the mounting points having squared ends? My original covers have a radius rather than rectangle impression.

Give the man in the straw hat the big Panda bear from the top shelf. Good spot Wayne.
Yes indeed, the right side cover sold by Yamiya has squared off casting impressions at the 3 points where the mounting posts are positioned. These are round on the original (although anything is possible with early Honda covers). The left cover has the rounded impressions as does the left side original.

You're right, Kerry. This is a picture of the inside of the Yamiya cover. It's almost the same as an original.

If i'm a good  observer, i dont see the classic stamp-sign in the external face of this cover.
All the original covers, under the emblem, have a mold sign in the half zone where are the 2 little holes(where fits the foot of the emblem).
