David Silver No 8 Bolt Sets

Pretty sure that these are Yamiya parts

If so does anyone know if they are pretty good replicas? Its great for us all that David Silver is stocking some Yamiya parts (exhausts etc) because it will save all of the hassles of high postage and import duties. The price he is charging is almost the same as the Yamiya part for the bolt sets. I found that his Facebook page details him touring the US for NOS parts from dealers. My offspring have always banned me from joining Facebook (not that I wanted to anyway) but I joined just to ask David if he would join the sohc.co.uk site, which he did. He has since contacted me to say that if we have any specific questions on supply/spec. of parts etc I should link him to the question via facebook. One question I had for him is if he is going to stock Yamiya seats / covers/foams. Hopefully, the Yamiya parts will be available from his USA operation too.

Hi Ash
Thanks for sharing the David Silver link. Over the years I've bought hundreds of dollars of parts from their outlet in the UK. That was a most interesting facebook page and I thoroughly enjoyed the read
As to your initial question. IMHO they are not good copies of the original at all Remember a lot of the later K0s were short on #8 bolts in any case and the #8 were very lightly pressed with the 8 whereas these are much heavier. If you have nothing else then I spose they are OK but not for my bikes

Hi,
I have a Yamiya "8" bolt set. Does anyone have a list that will tell you which size bolt is used in what location?
I have located the correct position for most bolts, but not all.
Thanks
Ken

Here's a link to a thread with a spreadsheet that lists all the screws.
