Shipping parts overseas that contained fuel or oil
on:

Has anyone had any issues shipping a part overseas that contained a petroleum product? Things like oil lines, oil tanks or fuel tanks? I sold an item and now I’m wondering if it can go by air as it could contain residual fumes or oil.

Hello Wayne,
Personally, I never had any shipping problem with that...

I’ve had dozens of items shipped to me from the US and Canada over many years and no issues. Oil lines engine parts and many have had oil residue on/in them. If you give the part a clean there will be no problem.
