len's bike update the motor is vin CB750E-1002428 and the frame vin is CB750-1002307 not 1007414 as previously thought. The hole is in the lower case and the motor internals are pretty rusted. Marty K.
Well that makes more sense and still a pretty good find!

First, I'd like to apologize for the confusion/excitement I've stirred on the board regarding my bike. On my initial post, I inadvertently listed my frame number as 1007414. I'd copied that number from my research notes not realizing it's significance. (What are ya, NEW!!?!). Well yes, I am. The actual numbers are; frame - 1002307 and engine - 1002428. That being said, for the reasons stated on my first post, I think it may be best at this time that I put it up for sale. Being new to all of this and not having a firm price in mind, I'll be accepting offers.
Also, as my original goal when I first heard of this bike roughly four years ago was to to get a classic CB750 I could restore and ride, I would also consider a trade for a running bike of comparable value.
I've taken many close up photos of what I have and would be happy to email them to any interested parties. Also, please feel free to call me at (719) 375-3667, and I'll do my best to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks,

Len

Len sent me a couple pictures and i just got done talking to him on the phone.  A pleasure to talk to and his story discovering the bike and then actually getting it are great !  Sounds like he'd consider a trade for a CB750 he could ride.  Great way for somebody to get into a sandcast !
