I bought a set of Progressive springs for the front end. The kit noted to used the two spacers provided. So I did, and it is too stiff. I'm going to remove them next weekend. I can tell it's going to be an improvement.
Now for the rear shocks.
What do ya'll ride on.
The original Honda rear shocks? I'm looking for and upgrade for less than $300.00.
Any suggestions?

Do you remove them or cut them to length to achieve the desired ride result? I know with some bikes the spacer has to be in there so the top fork nut will put enough pre-load on the springs, in other words a minimum length. I have never installed Progressive's on a CB750 so I'm not 100% on that. I know on an HD removing just 1/4" from the spacer has quite an impact on the feel.
