our time on the planet's getting shorter day by day, we're all temporary custodians of these great bikes. being a history buff, thought it could be a nice way to get to know each other a little more personal..... so here goes. pics included.
my paternal grandparents immigrated from sweden in the mid 1880's, my grandmother was born 1876 and came to us in 1888, she died 1966, i remember her and her stories well. my grandfather was born 1862, he immigrated 1883, died 1941, 11 yrs.b4 i was born. enclosed are some of his belongings he brought with him from the old world and also a tintype of him and his brother soon after they reached nebraska, he is standing beside his brother at age 21.
