"C" VIN on Engine

Got an email from a guy who says his engine has a "C" designation before the VIN sequence. Anyone seen this before. He says the number is: CB750 C 1007325..

Asked for pic's but he doesn't have a camera. :/

Be real interesting to see if it is a Honda C.

 Single cam? there is a 750 custom but it's a twin cam.
