Parking Light Question

This might be a stupid question, but I am curious. Why is there a parking light option on the key switch? Were motorcycles supposed to be parked with the tail light left on in public places, etc.?

Yes, you are correct. The 2nd switch position is park.

Well I made a mistake. I bought a tail light bracket from down under. It's for a French Sandcast and is different than a U.S. Sandcast (so many parts are different). Anyone need a French Tail Light Bracket for a Sandcast. I did my homework after the "BUY IT NOW". Big mistake.

Tail light bracket looks to be for a K1. These are still available from CMS and he shouldn't say thay are to suit a K0 as they don't fit the K0 rear fender. They're not rare either
The guy is a Richard Cranium and I wouldn't buy a dog bisket (dog cookie to you good ol'boys) from him.
