Brake rotor finish

I´ve got a KO brake rotor and think about making it nicer looking.

What color should I use for the inner (1) and outer (2) part?

(or keep the "patina" and keep it as it wont become better?)

If you put it in a heated ultrasonic tank you will be impressed with how clean the braking surface will look.  I have done it and it is impressive.  Then figure out what color the black is and you can repaint and be done.  Good luck
