hhmm.....

after welding to heaters de-chromed, grinded and re- chromed for about 1.200 EUR (and get rid of one "HM300" stamp), but there are some serious dents and rust and I wonder if anybody can weld them back to heaters that they fit properly on the bike?

I don't know about these. But I've had mufflers welded to headers with fantastic results. I've also had repairs that are beautifully done. Tig welded using stainless then polished. No rechrhomed

The alignment of the header pipe to each muffler would really take some good jigs to get them to fit properly, someone with a lot of talent and ingenuity. Anything is possible, but I would never pay that kind of money for just the mufflers.
