Long and short choke arms

Perhaps we've not kicked the choke arm length topic around, i don't see much, if anything, on the website/bb........... ?

So, my question is - What vin did the long choke arm stopped being used and the short arm come into use ?

The carbs on E100 has the long arm.
The carbs on E1490 has the short arm.

Carbs on #302 ansd #1120 BOTH have long choke arm and straight brass body vents.

Mark...does 1490  have the straight brass vents?
