Thanks fellas, as usual, I open one can of worms to get to another. My harness is completely unmolested and intact. As much as I don't want to touch it, the rubber protected sleeves are brittle and cracked. The wires inside are pristine. So - I bought some new sleeves from vintage connections and planned on just replacing that. After I saw his bullet connectors and how cheap they were compared to other things on this bike, I figured I might just go ahead and replace all of the connections. As odd as it sounds, I actually like tedious projects like that.
And Mark - all the looms on the CBs I've done over the years have the non-adhesive tape for the majority of the loom with only a small bit of adhesive type on the ends.
That's what my sandcast has now. In the past I've just used the good 3M electrical tape to make my repairs. This will be the first time I've ever used the non-adhesive kind.
Going to try and make it look brand new and original.
