Title: sandcast 5970 on ebay
Post by: Kevin M on April 28, 2015, 09:28:15 pm
Sandcast 5970 is listed on eBay - but there's no close-up photo of the VIN and no photo or mention of the engine number.  Seems rather strange...

I'm thinking the blurb about being "original" is a bit much It looks fairly complete but the chrome forks, cam cover, master cylinder cap, copy chain guard and black motor plus a few other things takes away the original (read unmolested) descriptor for this machine. For me the first bid is over $5k too high. Sorry if I offend anybody but that's my take. KP

Definitely not unmolested.  The side covers maybe look original but the tank looks redone.  If he gets $34,500 I''d take time off work and finish mine up real fast.

Maybe the seller should write : Original ummolested bike, just only crashed on the font and bad repaired.......
Donīt forget also non original Honda tank emblem.

Far from original, it has been apart, and put back together.
