Motorcycle's Wanted / Also looking for a sandcast frame
« on: September 29, 2011, 05:02:50 pm »
I have not posted here in awhile, but I have sandcast engine #1001971... cool number, huh?  Well, it would be even cooler if I could find a frame that is 18xx to 20xx.  If anyone has any info, you can contact me here, or directly at marktieman@juno.com

Thanks!

I rescued this motor from its torturous life in a chopper frame.... so now its time to find a proper frame within a reasonable VIN range. I posted a WTB thread in the forum.
Any info or leads would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Parts Wanted / WTB - Sandcast frame
« on: February 01, 2011, 11:27:32 am »
Hello,
I recently rescued sandcast engine CB750E-1001971 from its torturous life in a chopper frame in the south central valley of California.  I couldn't resist purchasing this motor... how many people can say they have a 1971 Sandcast??

Anyway, the engine runs and sounds great, and now the search is on for a proper frame.

I'm looking for a sandcast frame in the 1800 to 2100 range.  If anyone has a frame or any info, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello everyone,
My name is Mark and I live in the sf bay area.  Long time Honda rider, and own a couple of early diecast 750s. I have finally realized that I need to have a sandcast in my garage!  I have watched the auctions and sales over the past years, and have been reading the threads in the forum.  This is a great website and resource to honor the CB750 sandcast.

I know each of you love your sandcast more than your own family, but I'll ask the question anyway... is anyone interested in parting with your sandcast project?  I'm looking for a matching chassis/engine in any condition that needs to be restored.

If anyone is even remotely interested, please send me a reply.

Thanks.... looking forward to finally having one of these jewels in my garage.
