On the 4 x 6x25 bolts securing the oil engine lines one is mentioned "special" on the Part List with a different reference: 90040-300-000. That was t it special screw screw of the three other?  :o
Thanks for the precision. ;)

One of those oil line screws had a cross point in the hex head if that's what you are asking about.

if you give me a couple days, i can do that.  this bolt fixes front line.  it's the rear bolt on front line.  basically, it's a 10 mm hex head with a JIS (similar to Phillips head).  this bolt accommodates a 10 mm wrench *and/or* a JIS (similar to Phillips) head screw driver.  basically, it's like any 6 mm engine cover screw, except it is also a hex head.

Hi Mark !!  what would you call this special "fastener?"  a JIS/hex head screw ?  or a JIS/hex head bolt ?   :)

From what i remember this special hex head bolt with the JIS or #3 phillips type screw driver head. This special bolt was closer inline with the frame tube making it more difficult to install/remove with a socket. A JIS or #3 phillips works nicely.

Steve... I ask you the question because I do not have the answer... ;)
I want to know is why Honda has decide to put this "special" screw, there must be a very good reason where then it's completely silly...

i concur with Marty's answer.

btw, fwiw, if you use these screwdrivers, you will never pick up another Phillips screwdriver.  cost $89 from Vessel + shipping.....  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vessel-Megadora-8pc-Japanese-Motorcycle-ATV-Repair-JIS-Screwdriver-Set-/111604527890?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19fc25f312
