after seeing the following link for this nice airbox i was reflecting on the fact around 2001 i bought a set of carbs and perfect airbox off ebay for $138.50.  at the time i felt like i got a good deal, as an airbox alone would have been not easy to find and sold for the price i paid for the airbox and carbs...  this was before dss was making the airboxes or at least before i was aware of dss and i don't beleive yamiya was in existence yet.  my goodness sakes    14 years ago

pretty crazy, huh ?  there consistently used to be under a hundred 'sandcast' items on ebay until around 2005-6, as i recall
