According to this document Honda, only 4 countries have received the Sandcasts...
USA, France, Germany and Australia...
I thought that there is more...

There is a "U.S.A. type"  we know Canada got a number of low number vin units.  i suppose "U.S.A. type" was compatible with Canadian regulations....

I doubt if any SC came to Germany in those days.

The first motorcycle arrived in Germany had the frame number CB750-1005084 if reliance has this listing Honda...

The chart is vague. The engine VIN's for Netherlands and England should not show a starting point of 1000001, but at the very least 1007415. Am I correct? Germany could conceivably gotten around 2000 SC's by frame number count.

It is logical from the E-1000001 point for the engine..
Because it is the chassis (frame) which is important for the vehicle number and engine number has the era was secondary and uninteresting for identification...

According to the research of Bojje Fredin there was ca 18 Sandcasts coming directly to Sweden. Later on some had been imported and today itīs around 25 of them in our country. Later bikes coming to Sweden I think was of General Export type, but I donīt know about the Sandcasts. At least I know the sandcasts was not of German type as the "winkers" and rear light bracket was the same as for example USA.

A clearly difference from USA-Sandcasts is that the Swedish sandcast bikes have the stamped VIN-number on the right side of the steering head.

The Sandcasts coming directly from Honda to Sweden are 2 within the range of #2xxx, 6 in #3xxx, and 10 in #5xxx.

/Ken
1969 CB750 Sandcast #5084 - running
1969 CB750 Sandcast #5128 - Running
1970 CB750 next project
1975 K2 (K3-5 donīt exist in Sweden) - Running
1981 Goldwing 1100 Interstate

Where/what listing dId you find that info?

I have never seen a SC in German spec.
I assume, maybe a handful had been imported by HONDA Germany from USA for press purposes.  But SC sold to customers in G?

BTW: total CB750 sale 1969/1970 in Germany had been 503 bikes (K0 and K1)

it can be said that no sandcast models came to the UK in 1969
UK only got cb750 diecast from 1970 starting from frame# 1010369  :(

In France, we would have had 543 Sandcast imported... For a total of 1524 motorcycles with K0 models, according to official figures...

The UK DID of course get at least one sandcast in '69, registered CGU 7H in September of that year - the Gold Brighton show pre-production bike.
First "official" import was of course a die cast, 1010369, imported late January 1970.

I've never understood why England had received the Honda CB750 so late?
Who has a real explanation?

Is the meaning really like that: only 4 countries receiving SC Hondas?
Canada just got similar models to US!
Have always believed mine was a US model like the other 4 arriving here mid August '69.
A week later I saw a couple more in Sweden.
Rumours will have it there is at least one 4xxx SC in Norway! And done some 600K. km!

Perhaps also (Yes I know... I know... assumptions...) that low number distributed to the Canada were actually reserved for the departure for the USA?
Ditto for the 73 Sandcast labeled California on the boxes and diverted to the France... They were also I think initially reserved for the USA.. Because there was no reason  that they are delivered first in California...
Fortunately, Honda changed its mind... ;D
It is still 73 Sandcasts that the Americans have not had!! ;D ;D ;D ;D lol
