Selling a set of "28" carbs.

Condition: cleaned with ultra sonic, otherwise see pictures

This is NOT a repro but a genuine "28" carb set coming from a low mileage bike with correct short spring hardware.
No bling-bling polishing/chroming but genuine finish with patina.

I will enclose 4 additional top set srews so you can opperate later 6mm cables as well.

Prize: EURO 1.600,00 + shipping ex Germany

Yeah well! That's Manfred selling a set of now f***ed 28 caps which have the 6mm cable guides for that 100 point restoration. I can see Mark snapping those up to put on 97. The crowning final part ....... Oh yeah.  :o They may even be repop tops so how good would that be over those genuine but recalled tops Mmmmmm and all for 1100 Euros.   ;D

die ersten generation my ass.  cleaning scratches all over the top of that 28 cap. NOS?  Really...... NOT.  that carb body has short choke lever, correct ?  and the 90 degree cast elbow vent, correct ?

"die ersten generation" Vergasser hat Messing Offnung.  nicht Guss Offnung.  Uli, pardon my poor German !  the early 1st version carbs had a long choke lever, the vents were brass tubing pressed in to carb body pointing in the horizontal position, i.e., not vertical

manfred is trolling for an unsuspecting victim to buy his garbage.

I may be wrong but those "28" figures look slightly different to the "28" on the carbs I sold.

Re that carb with the 28 cap. Steve Vanzetto may add some clarity as he would know more about these caps. To my non-expert eye this looks to be one of his caps ?
