Does anyone have pics of a left hand horn?

Mounted on the frame and off would be great.  Is the horn different than the right hander or is it just the mounting bracket to the frame.  Better yet does anyone have one they would like to sell?

If you take a right hand horn, remove and reverse the mounting bracket, it can be fitted onto the left hand side. BUT, the chrome cover is also "handed", such that the wires would exit to the outside of the bike in the case of a right hand horn mounted on the left.
I believe though that the chrome cover from  either a CB250 / 350 twin, or else a 350/4 (can't remember which right now) is the same as the "left hand" CB750 one - I have by mixing parts in the past created a correct left hand horn in this way.

I am not going to mention the subject of grey bodies, or grey wiring sheaths at this time (oops, I already have I think!), as these only seem to have been fitted to a very limited number of mostly very early serial numbered bikes - and we don't have any absolute data from which to pin this one down.

Hopefully the two attached oictures will show you what an original left hand horn looks like, and where the wiring exit is on the cover.

Thanks Chris.  I won't worry about the grey body.  How early, I have a 2-digit sandy.  Oops, I guess I started worrying about it.  Seriously if I could do like you said I would plenty happy.  I know from browsing around here that you are quite knowledgable.  I have another post trying to identify a 19 liter tank.  Know anything about those?

Do we have your numbers listed - not often we hear of activity where 2 digits are concerned.

Have replied elsewhere regarding the 19litre - seem to have mutiple posts re. tanks.

The numbers are listed in the VIN directory, 97/100.  When I saw it advertised that's how I knew it was legitimate numbers.  Just got it.  I've got another sandcast that I'm finishing up now and once I get into the other one I will post more info.  Sorry about the multiple postings.  After I starting the inquiry about the 19 liter tank I saw the discussion about wrinkle tanks and thought I would throw that in there.  I was anxious to confirm whether or not I had the nineteener or not.  I'm guessing its next to impossible to find one.

Congratulations Mark - that is the only 2 digit bike I have ever heard of actually being for sale. good engine number too  - as near to number 1 as anyone ever likely to see (five 0's and a 1 after the first 1!

Thanks.  This one is pretty rough though.  Has been sitting since 1979.  I'm just wrapping up my other sandcast now before I get into the other one.  When I do I'll post plenty of info.
