I was just getting the rear K0 rim on my ride bike sorted and the shop told me there are cracks forming in the rim around the nipples. Those spokes were done up too tight!
Rather than put it back together and not being happy, I thought I would ask the forum if anyone out there has a nice condition rear rim from a K0 or K1 (without any writing, apart from the DID logo)?
I dont want to rechrome it - Id like to keep the patina of the rim the same as the bike, so it cant be pitted. Some small rust spots are ok as long as they are the types that clean up with elbow grease. A little surface rust on the inside is ok as well - this is quite normal.
I figure someone out there has bought a complete wheel for a 2 hole hub, but may not have used the later rim for their Sandcast.
