Late production model, beginning probably somewhere between VIN's 2000 - 3000, classic difference, RH horn mount to frame. A protective rubber boot was placed over the upper brake hose junction; banjo bolted to master cylinder had a slight bend. These Late Production models APPEAR to have the same alternator cover as the Early Production models. HOWEVER - in various literatures, particularly magazine periodicals, there appear on some of the "sandcast" bikes alternator covers that have the boss in the 9:00 position to be thinner and in the later models (approx.VIN 3xxx?) the boss appears twice as thick.
