I'm on holidays in the Philippines and have seen the most amazing New Year celebrations I've ever witnessed. These guys still have fireworks allowed at new year. Alas in Oz we have been banned from such pleasures and are relegated to watching staged events at special events etc etc. Anyway my family and I have had about 3 hours of the most spectacular fireworks displays I've seen. I'm not talking about the staged fireworks displays here but random fireworks across a city of a few million people from atop a 15 storey building. Absolutely memorable.  ::)Hope you all had a good night. KP

KP it is good to hear you and your family are enjoying the holiday season in the Philippines. It is a great laid back place, with lots of neat things to see and do. I lived in the Philippines for ten years and rode my CB750'S (2) AND CBX all over the country over 95,000 miles between the three motorcycles. Marty K.

Thanks Marty. The place is certainly an eye opener that's for sure. We are now in Borocay which is in stark contrast to Manila in that there are actually tourists here whereas in Manila we rarely saw any tourists. Cheers
