I am a newbie here so just as an introduction I am restoring a sandcast frame # CB750-1004294/CB750E-1004048. I also have a second sandcast frame/motor, and have not really decided what to do with it yet. I also have a 1970 K0 I am using as a daily rider and as an assembled reference.

Seem to remember seeing somewhere that someone in Japan makes repro K0 instrument housings. Does anyone know anything about this?

Also, I will mention I am having my machine shop make some engine studs. When I tried to buy new ones, I was told the short ones are no longer available. If there are any other sources for these, I would like to hear about it. If they truly are hard to come by, if any one else needs a set, let me know so I can tell them how many sets to make

Here's where you can get the instrument housings: http://www.yamiya750e.com/
And lots of other good stuff.  A little spendy but I've had good luck.

APE has the best studs around:

Good luck,
