Honda CB750 Sandcast

Anyone try a seat cover from Z1 Parts? Also any source for good repo foam?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience (good or bad) with this repro seat cover.  The price is right.

Also - does anyone have a good source for decent repro ducktail foam?  My original foam is ok but it is breaking down a bit so new foam would be a lot more comfy.

Thanks,
Billy

Yes I bought one years back and it was an OK cover but no strap is supplied and the grain is different to the original. The best seat covers are sold by Yamiya as is the foam. KP

I agree with KP.

The Yamiya seat skin and foam are the best parts in the world market for our bikes.

Thanks for the pointer guys.  I had looked at yamiya previously.  If my math is correct (and I sure hope its not), the Yamiya stuff is about $615 for a cover and foam, plus shipping from the Motherland.  I hardly even paid that for the whole bike so I think I'll pass on that one.

Just kidding on what I paid  :P

On the el-cheapo Z1 cover, did it at least fit right and look decent if not perfect?  To be honest I don't like the straps anyways, I always end up sitting on them and they aren't real comfortable.  Really I was debating just finding a nice king/queen seat and tossing the original in the trash pile....    Ha ha - got you again!

Thanks,
Cheapskate

Yamiya has a converter on the side for dollars- no guessing.

I have had others, but Yamiya is the only one I would buy. Like Mom used to say, buy the best and you won't be disappointed.
