Do you have photos of your sandcast and the part in question?

Very cool!  I wonder what it will sell for.    I know in the past few years the market appears down.

How does that gauge work?  Does this allow you to sync the carbs?

Nice survivor Chip! I always love to see these early cb750’s back on the road! When you get a chance  could you please post more pictures of your early bike. Like Kp said, you will have some of the rarest parts on your bike due to its early vin.  Also what is the number on your other Sandcast?  Congrats and welcome.

Dan, Can you please post a picture of the frame and engine numbers as well as the whole bike? The engine number you posted is probably and "E" and not an "F".  Sometimes the stamp becomes a little faded.  The true test for a Sandcast engine is a 9 bolt clutch cover.

Hi Joe, i think you will be satisfied with the yamiya seat.  One option that i have been doing is to use the seat from yamiya and when i get a chance to restore the original one, I can replace the yamiya seat and use it on the next CB750. This way you can enjoy your bike at the same time.

Welcome Paul.  Can you post a few pictures of your sandcast?  We love pics on this site especially these early sandcasts which have some of the rarest parts of all.
Thanks
Arnold

Do you think he would get his asking price on Bring a Trailer?  I have seen high prices for early CB750's.  My buddy sold a K1 on there for $30,000 +

I'm not sure on the price.  I think the most I've seen for a frame  was about $4000.  I think $7000 would be a good price if the engine was included.

General Discussion / Unique petcock from SC#81
« on: November 19, 2021, 04:22:41 pm »
Here are a few pics of the petcock from SC#81.  I wanted to ask the group if anyone has seen this type of petcock.  It is very similar to the short neck on my SC#1138.  The only other petcock similar to this one was the petcock on the blue/green prototype.  Thoughts?

Hi Spaarkie, Are you looking for the original pipes for your sandcast?  I know yamiya sells a set of reproduction no number stamp HM300's
