Hi, I'm in Victoria, BC, Canada, way out west on Vancouver Island.
I've actually been a member for a while, but I could hardly brag about my original Sandcast

It was an orphan, with a motor that had suffered a chain break, and the replacement case part with no number stamped on it. Even worse the chassis had been replaced with a 71, although much of the parts attached to it are Sandcast. Somehow, when the chassis was replaced, the bike was re-registered in BC using a BC issued VIN, so I don't even have the original chassis VIN that came with this motor, let alone the motor number.

Did I say Orphan?
In my modest collection I have several copies of every displacement Honda 4 from SOHC 350F to DOHC 900C, including five SOHC 750s K0-3. I also have some other models, 63 C105, 82 GL500i, 75 GL1000, 82 CBX six, and a 73 850 Norton Commando. I love my toys

These bikes all came to me not running, and many in pieces. I prefer them like that - cheap to buy so my investment is in the safety & reliability I create in rebuilding. I spent a year just accumulating bits and pieces for my Sandcast while working on other projects.
In March this year I bought 1003245 (on VIN registry) from Florida, which had been re-engined with a 71 #1068645. The purchase, with associated shipping and US Customs paperwork, was particularly painful with the Canadian dollar at only abut 75 cents USD

But I've got both bikes here now and I'll build one nice one. For now, I'll make do with non-correct parts to get the bike up and running. I've posted a list of parts I need on the Parts Wanted page, with some items I can swap. Of course, if anyone's working on other Hondas 4s, I may have other parts to swap too.
Cheers Everyone!
Brian
