Well, I decided the most frugal way to have a "rider" K0 was to build myself a clone. I bought a K2 today and she's not in bad shape! Engine was resealed, new tires and other bits and pieces. Cosmetically she is about what you would expect for a ridden bike.

Plans are to build it out using K0 cosmetics. I already have a spare oil tank so K0 side cover will look correct. We'll scrounge for and add earlier upper tree, gauges, ducktail seat, painted fork ears, air box, we'll give that rolled front edge on the front fender a wee shave. ;) Top it off with some candy red paint and gold tank striping and who knows what else. :)
