Sandcast Front Brake Switch - Colour Red or Black??

Hi All,
Just thought Id ask the question.

The brake pressure switch which screws into the front brake hose junction - is the plastic part in the centre supposed to be red or black?  Im looking to buy a replacement and noticed that the colour is different on the original ones I have access to.  I know Yamiya sell them, but I believe they are repops.

This is going on VIN 1853 if it helps.

As far as i know, black was the only color for these pressure switches.

Hi Steve, thanks for the fast response.
They are available in red as well.  the black one I have access to looks to be in original early honda parts packaging, so Im leaning more towards it.  Especially if you have only noticed black ones while you have been restoring your sandcasts

The black centre ones were fitted through to VIN 1095605 I understand. So, all sandcasts, diecast CB750's and most K1's too.

Nice find if you have com accross NOS "black" centre ones!

What i was trying to say, red switches were not fitted to any sandcast or K0; only black ones were fitted to these bikes and we've heard up to what vin from Chris.

Thanks for the good info guys. yes located a few of these NOS. not cheap but then again what is for these bikes?
