69/7 parts manual calls for one pn for conneciting rod -and- lists four different bearing sizes, identified as A-B-C-D. These different bearings have no pn & are referred to only in measurements of diameter & thickness.

Parts bulletin 6/25/71, notifies for change to connecting rods by weight codes. The rods have separate codes for weight AND inside diameter; i.e., i.d. size on upper rod half, weight code on cap, having three different size codes - "1-2-3." Differences of weights of these new rods & caps are designated as "A through K." This bulletin denotes Japanese characters for the different rod weight of the earlier rods.
