Welcome to Production Models, for referencing information which can be useful to determine what parts are correct for any "sandcast" CB750. The goal of this department is to identify by VIN, changes occurring within the production run between machines CB750 1000001 to CB750 1007414. For example, we want to identify distinctive changes in parts or characteristics between the Early and Late Production run machines by VIN. A classic example of these changes is the LH (Early) and the RH (Late) mount horns; occured around 25xx. Additionally, we want to determine as accurately as possible changes within and between the model run using VIN's as reference points. That is, identify the differences between machines by establishing VIN breaks. For example, identify characteristics of the the 1st five "sandcasts" and then the next five. Then, compare the differences of the first 10 machines to the next 15 and from machine # 25, compare the differences to the machine # 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000, to 7414. Production Model Differences is worded and orgainzed as seen in the "HONDA CB750 PARTS LIST, as printed in 1969. Pleasse send the Webmaster any inforamtion pertaining to these changes and if possible, ALWAYS reference your source.
