Sandcast 1052 / E1312 is up for auction on eBay. The bike is a barn find with 36K miles. Looks to be a good project. The fork ears are chrome and the front fender is not the double-cut original, but still, it's mostly all there, including a two hole air box.  As might be expected, the bike is not listed in the directory.

Sandcast 4510 / E4280 is listed for sale on Bring a Trailer. The bike has 33K miles on it.  It looks to be in very decent shape but the powder coat on the frame makes the VIN almost unreadable.  The bike is listed in the VIN directory.

General Discussion / Ignition mark???
« Last post by jaka on July 14, 2024, 04:35:36 am »
Hello!
I´m about to set the ignition on my 1969 CB 750 sand cast and when I look trough the small hole in the ignition plate  were the points are I could only see a very small vertical line (2mm high) which is made on the aluminium crank case boss behind the timing plate. It  looks like the mark  is made by a chisel!? This chisel mark is only 1-1,5mm to the right  from were the aluminium boss starts and not in the middle of the boss like on the K1, K2 and K3 CB 750 models , and not as easy to see and well-defined.
Is this the timing mark?
Regards!

Sandcast 2860 is listed on Craigslist, but there is no information on the engine number. The seller is asking $31,900 or best offer. The bike has 12,162 miles on it. The ad says it's unrestored, except for the exhaust pipes, but the tank has obviously been repainted, etc. The VIN is not listed in the directory.
