Great post and a novel way of recording a restoration. A picture tells a 1000 words but a video tells a million. I loved it  :o
As for Sirius in Canada, I've been buying parts from them since I don't know when and all their products are good and service is great. Deal with them direct rather than ebay and you will save on postage  and maybe cost of the parts. I don't see why their pistons would be any different to anyone else. I would use them. KP

Sorry, i have no experience with pistons from Sirius.  I have purchased other items from them, high quality.  Sirius has been selling a long time.

Hi to all, friends.

I need information about balancing of crankshaft.
During the engine disassembly, I seen the difformity of connecting rods.
In the picture You can see the number printed on side.

https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/lpCG8roPve_xiG6RUpKfKyJvInKoAE6CWjeiwHQRKYg?feat=directlink

I don't understand why the first is different

So, I want to balance the cranckshaft but I don't understand if during the operations is necessary disassembly the  connecting rods.

The connecting rods must have the same weight?

How did the honda?

Sorry, but occasionally I don't find the correct translation. :'(

Hi Wayne and thanks for fast reply.

... :-\ But I don't understand.....I would to know because I don't have the letters but numbers.
I think that my connecting rods are originals.

the printed numbers are two....1/2   and   4/25

Before operate on very tank I check with another item.

In the next picture You can see the special scotch (very small) for designed the edge.

I used two scotch for to check the better brand.
One of this is 3M (blu type).

    • Buy High Quality CB750 gauge parts online!
That looks good! $40 is cheap, I paid 80 euros for one bike here in Holland

Hi friends,
Soon,  I will paint the gold line on the tank.
I seen on internet the special striper, for paint the black lines.

I matched the size with my stripes, but I'm not sure.

I would buy this item, but I dont know the correct size of black lines.

Please can You help me? Can You check the size on Your tank and show me the correct model?

Many thanks
